Album, about 60 p., inscribed, "Mrs. Sarah P. Brame, Granville Co., N. Carolina ... The Property of Mrs. Sarah P. Brame, near Randolph- Macon, Mecklenburg County, Virginia, and Mrs. Frances S. Benners, Newbern, Oct. 1847." Entries are messages from friends (many apparently were students at Randolph-Macon College) and relatives, most in the form of poems on religious themes. Most entries are signed and dated (chiefly 1838-1840); some are addressed to Aunt Brame.
